We are trying to help the world make better use of its possessions. We see the biggest opportunity right now in the fashion segment, where globalization, increased dispensable income in emerging markets, social media obsession and fast fashion are creating consumerism that is spiraling out of control. We know that over 50% of the average woman’s wardrobe space is made up of unworn or once-worn items in perfect condition, that will never be worn again. We think this is a huge waste.
So Shedd created a fashion marketplace enabling people to be creative and experimental – but in a more sustainable way. Promoting the buy.wear.shedd. mentality.

Shedd is hiring a full-time Retention & CRM Specialist to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience managing user communications (email, push notifications, in-app messages), running A/B experiments and working on paid re-engagement such as retargeting. This role will demand to work closely feel with Data Scientists, Product and Tech teams, in order to improve the set-up and intelligence of our campaigns (for example, through the usage of a recommendation engine alongside with our CRM platform). Experience with a Mobile Marketing Automation tool is a must (Braze, Leanplum or Swrve) as well as with email marketing.
You’re empathetic and detailed oriented. Before running a campaign you take the time to understand how you can deliver value to your users. You can juggle multiple projects at the time, and you feel comfortable having technical discussions with Product and Data teams. You can understand the value and contribution of your campaigns and you are able to take decisions based on data, not guts. You like to experiment and try new things without putting at risk your results. You’re a team player, curious, competent, and others enjoy working with you. You welcome and give honest feedback, especially when it’s harder to do so.
