The Account Officers for Cars are not your typical sales guys. They build and grow OLX’s relationship with our loyal car dealers and agents. They help solve clients’ problems by providing solutions to help grow their businesses and make them successful.
An Account Officer’s main job is to make sure that their dealers get value from our platform - exposure, leads and finally, sales. Revenues through subscriptions and other value-added services purchased by dealers come in naturally after that. We believe that the key to growing our business is to grow our dealers’ respective businesses. As a future Account Manager for the Cars team, you will be in a central role to make dealers successful and in turn help OLX be successful.
A typical day at OLX could include:
- Establishing relationships with prospective dealers, bringing their business over to OLX to advertise with us
- Improving the relationship with existing dealers, leading them to increase the business they do with OLX
- Keeping in touch with your prospects and existing clients through different channels, may it be phone, email, SMS, chat, Viber, etc and maybe even a face-to-face visit to build and improve client relationships
- Planning your days and weeks ahead to make sure you maximize your time and spend more on actual conversations with dealers
- Keeping track of your key performance indicators, and making sure you are performing at or above the standards set by your team lead/s

We are looking for someone with:
- At least 1 year in B2B selling (e.g. selling to professionals like doctors, engineers; selling to SMEs/corporations)
- Strong persuasion, communication, and listening skills, high customer focus, and customer service
- Ability to manage customer expectations, objections and issues
- Familiarity with internet subscription services
- Ability to work in a target driven and constantly changing environment
- At least graduate of a Bachelor's/College Degree
