Job objective 

Responsibility for building and executing the sales strategy that’s required to grow and maximize revenue growth for the dubizzle Motors vertical. This person should be flexible to new challenges and comfortable working in a consistently challenging environment. (S)he is a team player with good communication skills and commitment to succeed through teamwork whilst achieving personal targets and objectives. The successful candidate will be comfortable working on their own initiative, continually approaching new clients and generating revenue.

What responsibilities will you get when working with us? 

  • Identify new clients through effective networking and any tools you have and that are made available to you, including competitor and government registration sites.
  • Sign up new and older (expired or cancelled) automotive accounts that are not currently subscribed to a dubizzle corporate account.
  • Utilise all business tools made available for your successful business development operations and adhere to strict activity recording in Salesforce of calls and meetings.
  • Ensure clients’ full advertising commitment to both dubizzle and its competitors are well documented at the time of signing contracts.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is made available to Sales Support prior to submission of signed contracts. Partner effectively with Sales Support to ensure efficient completion of client onboarding processes.
  • Ensure all new clients are trained in maximising the tools they have signed up for in a timely manner and that all clients attend the dubizzle onboarding training programme necessary for their optimal and successful utilisation of dubizzle services.
  • Consistently and continuously monitor client ‘health and quality metrics’ ensuring they are in line with management’s expectations and to ensure efficient use of service and no malpractice.
  • Ensure and prepare complete handover of accounts at the point that it is handed to the Existing Business team (three months after effective date).
  • Communicate effectively to manage clients’ expectations to ensure they receive a great dubizzle service.
  • Meet or exceed performance targets stipulated by your line manager.
  • Keep up to date with automotive development news.

What will you need to be successful in this role?


  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Working understanding of sales processes including questioning techniques, objection handling and closing methods
  • Natural desire to succeed
  • Arabic speaking 


  • Experience in classifieds or motors industry desirable
