We are looking for an experienced and energetic online advertising sales management professional to help grow and manage dubizzle’s rapidly expanding display advertising business for the MENA sector. You will need to be able to move fast and think strategically at all times, whilst leading and building a competitive team. OLX

What responsibilities will you get when working with us? 

Responsible for building deep client relationships, through leveraging dubizzle’s digital advertising products and technology, combined with performance data that provides actionable insights for our advertiser’s and agency partners, whilst consistently delivering on revenue targets.

  • Develop and successfully execute a comprehensive sales plan to meet or exceed growth and revenue goals.

  • Perform budget oversight and accurate forecasting. Report sales forecasts and pipeline relative to plan on a monthly basis.

  • Develop and successfully implement short, medium, and long-term strategic plans to create new revenue opportunities.

  • Work with Finance and BI to structure product pricing and yield management projects quarterly.

  • Cultivate, foster, and maintain strong relationships with key clients.

  • Analyze data trends and client performance, develop strategic business plans and lead preparation and delivery of strategic business presentations.

  • Partner with key stakeholders of other cross-functional departments to deliver insights, ideas and customer service that equip the sales team and drives business growth for our clients and for dubizzle.

  • Attract, develop and retain the very best talent in all roles across the team.

  • Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team

  • Set a strong example by working effectively with leaders across other departments.

  • Ability to relate to all levels of seniority with humility.

  • Build an exceptionally driven sales team by identifying potential candidates, hire, and retain elite sales talent.

  • Exhibits integrity though fair and ethical behavior toward others and a demonstrated sense of corporate responsibility and commitment.


What will you need to be successful in this role?

  • Deep knowledge and experience of the digital advertising industry, market trends and emerging technology.

  • Understanding of emerging programmatic landscape.

  • Change management experience is preferable

  • Seek out new possibilities and get others excited about them.

  • Understand, appreciate, and promote our company culture.

  • Maintain a positive, proactive, and solutions-oriented attitude and disseminate these qualities throughout the company.


Job Requirements/Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales management, managing teams of 4+.
  • Experience developing and implementing training programs for sales team.
  • Substantial experience in digital advertising, focused on agency sales.
  • Comfort and success in a heavy hunting and prospecting sales environment.
  • Experience in the classifieds business is a plus.
  • Local market experience is preferred.
  • English is essential
  • Arabic desirable
