What responsibilities will you get when working with us?

  • Building good relationships with all managers and staff at all levels by developing a thorough understanding of our culture, organizational structure and talent.
  • Ensure all Day-to-day administration including issuing employment contracts, maintenance of employee files is maintained accurately and correctly.
  • Coordinate with IT Support to ensure IT forms for joiners, ensure email address, desk and phone is ready for employee’s first day at work. Similarly, follow up with IT to ensure email addresses are cancelled when employees leave OLX
  • Manage recruitment for all roles, support for recruiting strategies and determining recruiting priorities.
  • Interview all potential candidates to ensure a cultural fit to the company.
  • Advisor/coach to managers in resolving employee relations, performance, staffing related issues in accordance with company policy and procedures as well as local labour law. Also, provide an advisory service to employees ensuring that they are fully aware of their rights and entitlements
  • Manage the Annual and Mid Year Performance Review process and ensuring all goals are updated on Fusion by the required deadline.
  • Assisting line managers in delivering meaningful feedback and evaluating appropriate promotion and increase recommendations based on performance.
  • Creating a team environment that facilitates: mutual respect and partnership and open lines of communication between team members in line with our OLX values.
  • Working with the management to determine training needs based on business requirements and individual developmental needs as determined by the performance review process.
  • Handle the full Payroll cycle in accordance with the labor law.
  • Keep up to date employee details on Oracle Fusion (HRMS) and follow the recruitment process on Greenhouse (ATS)
  • Organize team building and events for the company.

What will you need to be successful in this role?

  • Strong communication skills to work with all levels of seniority internally and externally
  • At least 2 – 3 years’ experience in a HR Generalist role
  • Experience in any of the specialist fields in Human Resources (Performance Management, Pay and Benefits, Learning and Development or Recruitment)
  • Excellent IT skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
