Job Objective

The Talent Acquisition Specialist position is responsible for building talent pipelines across the business.  We are looking for a driven proactive team player that is eager to use their experience and make an impact quickly.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will take the responsibility to ensure we are minimizing vacancy turnaround time & agency spend across the business (OLX/dubizzle) while contributing to the 444 talent strategy (Drive, Potential, Capability & Fit).  We are seeking someone with great knowledge of Internal and Agency recruitment methods and who can interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, build solid pipeline for each vacancy and be an adaptable team player in continuing to bring top talent into the business

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and engage external talent (global and local) using a wide variety of sourcing techniques in line with our new 4-pronged approach:
  1. Headhunting channels
  2. Advertising avenues
  3. Social media methods
  4. Internal referral system
  • Keep up to date with current sourcing best practice and innovative new techniques. New global 444 OLX hiring strategy based around Drive, Capability, Potential and Fit.
  • Review sourcing channels and networks and provide recommendations to the HR team on new recruiting techniques
  • Work with Hiring team to understand the scope of open roles
  • Meet with Senior Talent Acquisition, HR Manager and Hiring Manager to discuss progress of open positions, quality of candidates and strategy to find / engage more talent.
  • Provide pre-screened and qualified candidates to Hiring Manager within agreed time frames
  • Provide recruitment support when required to other areas of the business
  • Maintain good relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Develop a superior knowledge of all roles we have at dubizzle
  • Ensure the applicant tracking system (Greenhouse) is updated with prospective candidates and interview feedback
  • Report on recruitment metrics as required
  • Monitor trends in the job market & stay ahead of the game

Knowledge & Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 2-3 years sourcing in either in-house or search firm (both would be preferred)
  • Has proven experience in sourcing using a wide variety of sourcing channels to source talent ideally within digital/tech/mobile apps
  • Proven analytical capabilities to report on and interpret data related to searches with a view to improving sourcing techniques
  • Tech recruitment knowledge is a must

Preferred

  • Experience in sourcing positions in the online classifieds or e-commerce sector

Qualifications & specialist skills

  • Tertiary qualification in HR or related field
  • Strong internet research and social media recruitment skills
  • Fast approach to hiring top quality candidates
  • Take pride in your work and have fun doing it
